Studio members Patricia Vega, Sedona hair and makeup artist, and Sedona Monthly magazine, teamed up recently to create a beautiful cover for the September, 2010, issue.
“Sedona Monthly likes to have glamour on its covers to contrast our content. ” Joe McNeill, the magazine’s creative director says, “… and Patricia’s makeup provided the sophisticated, high-fashion style we always strive for. She did a great job!”
” Cosmetics have been around in one shape or form for millennia. The earliest documented use of cosmetics is around 4000BC in the days of ancient Egypt where eye decoration and scents were common place among men and women alike. Since then, very little has changed. We still love using make-up to contour, highlight and enhance our features in general. Today, when I have the opportunity to experiment with different looks, assist clients with a new image, work on cover girls for magazine photo shoots or even when I’m assisting a bride on their most important day… I feel a part of that history and get inspiration from those who came before me.
Saludos!!
Patricia.
