Romance At L’Auberge with James and Liza

A Day To Remember

This is the beautiful wedding story of James and Liza as told in images by Sedona’s ultimate photographers, Sedona Bride Photography.  Liza began the day with make-up by Liz Margin.  It was a beautiful day with perfect weather at L’Auberge de Sedona along magical Oak Creek. Liza is literally beaming with anticipation as she gets ready for her big day.

As the day unfolded, the marvelous work of Liza’s coordinator, Laura Marolakos, became more evident as the day progressed.  Laura did a superb job planning and styling this wedding as you will see later  when we show you some of her details.

It is always a treat to see the great black and white images that come from the studios of Sedona Bride Photography.   The lighting and highlights on the girls faces is lovely.  We especially love the subtle image of the seated girl (in the image on the right ) as she looks on.

Silhouette images are so artistic.  Sedona Bride Photographers are masters of the art.

Everyone is ready.  One last hug from a dear friend and Liza heads out for the groom’s first look.

The faces tell the story.  James is mesmerized as he sees Liza for the first time and she cannot wait to turn around.

Reverend Andrew Murphy of Heart of Sedona Weddings, one of Sedona’s busiest and most popular officiants, always gets humor, emotion and sentiment into his ceremonies.

Rings are exchanged.

James shows just how much Liza means to him… not a dry eye in the house!

Andrew pronounces them man and wife.

In a shower of celebratory rose petals, the couple is off to take a few photos on the property of L’Auberge de Sedona.

Everyone had a wonderful time.

The couple celebrated in a private toast to their love and future together as husband and wife.

Liza is gorgeous in this portrait by Sedona Bride Photographers.

Designer and owner of Events By Show Stoppers, Ken Heflin, fashioned this gorgeous bridal bouquet.

The bride’s maids, cute flower girl and Jr. maid of honor enjoy a few moments with the bride.

The James gang looks dashing in the black and white image.

It’s time to take a drive and get some of those famous Sedona sunset images while the guests enjoy some cocktails.

The timing was perfect for this wonderful image just as the sun was getting low on the horizon.

What a gorgeous setting with all the lovely grasses gently swaying in the breeze.

Just one more shot and then it’s back to L’Auberge for the reception.

The first dance is always fun.

James is into the Marshall Arts.  How fitting that the cake topper has the bride sparing with him by jumping on his back. Very cool detail.  Planner, Laura Marolakos, thought of everything.  The following details show why having a creative planner is so important. Details make the wedding unique and memorable.

Take a close look.  This wedding was full of really great details by planner,Laura Marolakos, Heart of Sedona weddings.  Just look at that lovely script Laura hand-wrote on the blackboard easel menu.

Every detail was perfectly matched and had a purpose.

The table centerpieces by Events By Show Stoppers were charming and carried out the color palette perfectly.

So ends the romantic story and the perfect day of James and Liza.
