SWS Coordinator Makes Cover Of National Magazine

Sedona Luxury Weddings Is Featured in Destination I Do Magazine

Destination I Do CoverCongratulations to SWS wedding coordinator, J.B Bloomfield of Sedona Luxury Weddings, for the great work she did on this charming vintage spring wedding. The wedding was held at SWS member, Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village with Show Stoppers providing lighting, flowers and decor.

The editors of national publication Destination I Do magazine loved the wedding so much that it was used as the cover of the current September issue as well as in a four page feature and it was  given a full-page in the inside back cover!   We love the cover and the cute Volkswagen bug with its luggage rack overflowing with wonderful vintage luggage.

We are very excited that Sedona Luxury Weddings has brought attention to the Sedona Wedding Studio through this great editorial.  J.B’s efforts not only bring attention to the SWS but promotes the city of Sedona as a destination which in turn benefits the entire Sedona wedding community.  Image by This Modern Romance.

Sedona Cake Couture Gets National Spotlight

International Magazine Features Sedona Cake Couture

The gorgeous new issue of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style Magazine has featured another Sedona Wedding Studio member!   Andrea Carusetta, Sedona Cake Couture, designed one of her fantastic signature cakes for an editorial photo shoot produced at L’Auberge de Sedona.

Sedona wedding cake

Using one of her incredible techniques, the southwestern design incorporated the stylish use of several hues of iridescent teals and lavenders washed over the surface.  Wonderful sugar-feather garnishes accent the design and surround the giant peony focal point.  We love how the feather motif is also delicately stamped into the fondant.  Just gorgeous.  The way Sedona Bride juxtaposed the piece against the painting in the background picks up the colors perfectly.

Grace Ormonde Pearl Cake

This exquisite cake received rave reviews in Grace Ormonde Wedding Style.  The intricate design took three designers as many days to complete, but the pay-off was enormous.  This graceful sugar-pearl motif  is setting trends all across the country.  We love the giant magnolia-esque flower with a center of spiraling sugar pearls that mimic a chambered sea shell.  The piece warrants recognition as a true piece of art and rivals any cake design in the world. Discover why Sedona Cake Couture is unsurpassed in style and quality.  Andrea is truly world class.  Sedona Cake Couture is Sedona’s only couture cake house specializing in wedding cakes and fine desserts.

Sedona Wedding Studio Gets Worldwide Recognition

Florists’ Review Features The SWS Model As The Next Trend For Professional Wedding Organizations

The membership of the Sedona Wedding Studio is absolutely thrilled and honored that Florists’ Review has featured the Sedona Wedding Studio as the new standard for Wedding organizations and associations in America.  And guess what!  The Sedona Wedding Studio is  ON THE COVER!   The leading article call-out at the top of the cover is titled, “ SPECIAL REPORT…  INSIDE THE SEDONA WEDDING STUDIO!   The SWS article call-out was even placed above Florists’ Review’s Exclusive article about the royal wedding!  All of the gorgeous photography is by SWS founding member, Sedona Bride Photography.  Please notice the table of contents that directs readers to both articles.  One Stop Weddings is the title of the article about The Sedona Wedding Studio.  The actual article will be posted later.

The article speaks of the innovative SWS business model and how our  new approach to wedding organizations has catapulted the SWS into the national and “international” spotlight.  The informative article, penned by Kelsey Smith, goes on to say how the SWS has made the ordinarily stressful task of choosing the correct venues and vendors both convenient and virtually stress free for destination brides planning their weddings in Sedona.

Originally launched over 100 years ago in 1897, the Florists’ Review has a massive readership and subscription base that is unsurpassed in the floral industry.  The publication reaches hundreds of thousands of subscribers, both nationally and internationally. Florists’ Review is the oldest and largest trade publication in the floral industry and the industry’s only independent monthly magazine for the retail/wholesale market.  It is widely read in the United States and in more than 80 countries abroad by retail florists, wholesale suppliers, growers, manufacturers, event planners and students.  The magazine is widely used by brides as a reference guide and to gain insider views into the latest trends as well as to forecast future trends.

It gets better.  The featured article titled, Style In The Southwest is about Events By Show Stoppers and their trend-setting innovation of rose petal carpets that are impacting the floral industry scene.  The SWS is influencing the wedding industry on several levels and is now getting exposure in 80 countries around the world!

We are so appreciative that our membership is getting this kind of recognition.  Articles like this are driving a landslide of visits to the SWS website.  Better yet, the Sedona Wedding Studio is doing it’s part to aggressively promote the city of Sedona as a wedding destination which helps the entire Sedona wedding industry and community.  We cannot thank Florists’ Review enough for the wonderful gift they have given to the SWS.

Sedona Rouge Opens The Alhambra Courtyard

Sedona’s Newest Ceremony Site Is WOWing Sedona Brides

The Sedona Wedding Studio is very excited to introduce Sedona’s newest wedding ceremony site at  The Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa.  The fabulous and much anticipated addition was christened, “The Alhambra Courtyard” and opened with a splashy grand opening soiree produced entirely by Sedona Wedding Studio members.  The Sedona Rouge is one of the Sedona Wedding Studio’s major venues.

The beautiful Alhambra Courtyard has it all…  a luxurious green lawn, red rock views, privacy, a beautiful red-rock aisle and lovely tile details.  The garden will accommodate up to 100 guests.  We hope you enjoy these wonderful images of this exceptional property by Sedona Bride Photography.

Sedona Rouge

The views from the Alhambra Courtyard are spectacular.  In the background is famous Thunder Mountain.  Tables can be set up in the rear of the garden for cocktails or small wedding receptions.  Sedona Wedding Studio member, Classic Party Rentals can help with everything needed for a perfect wedding.  SWS member, Bobby Russell, Sedona Sounds, provides every kind of music imaginable for ceremonies and receptions.  Bobby is Sedona’s most popular and referred DJ.

Sedona Rouge

The actual ceremony site at opposite end of the garden can be designed any number of ways.  Events By Show Stoppers designed these glorious floral displays and set them on a exquisite sideboard that serves as an alter table for the ceremony.  Glass beakers with column candles were used with a lovely embroidered runner.  Under the table was an antique, Tunisian wrought iron panel that works perfectly with numerous Tunisian panels seen throughout the property. We love how the dark blue hybrid delphinium picks up the cobalt blue tile behind the designs.

All these items and many more fun table-top accessories and props are available for purchase and for rent at The Sedona Wedding Studio.  Stop by and see why the Sedona Wedding Studio show room has become the standard for brides having their weddings in Sedona.  The SWS is a must stop to find all the correct venues and vendors.

Sedona Rouge

It is no wonder why this ceremony site is becoming one of the most popular in Sedona!

The lovely Shanandoah, Sterling Weddings of  Sedona, performed a touching ceremony and pronounced the couple, ” Man and Wife.”  Shanandoah is one of Sedona Wedding Studio’s wonderful ministers and always creates a heartfelt, romantic ceremony.

Congratulations to another excited couple stepping out into the world as husband and wife!

The Alhambra Courtyard is perfect for cake cuttings and intimate receptions immediately following the ceremony. Sedona’s most celebrated cake artist and Sedona Wedding Studio member,  Andrea Carusetta of Sedona Cake Couture, provided the fabulous cake.

Sedona Rouge

The Sedona Rouge Hotel and Spa has so many wonderful options for cocktail receptions, formal receptions and rehearsal dinners.  Romantic setting for photo ops are everywhere on the property.  This fountain, surrounded with hand-made Moroccan tile, is in the beautiful atrium and provides a cool oasis on warmer days.  Sedona’s hottest bar, Reds, is just steps away.  The gorgeous bar is the place to see and be seen, eat great food, hang, enjoy live music and have a blast with friends.  Yes, Sedona does have night-life.

Our couple enjoys a quite moment just after the ceremony.  We love the antique Tunisian wrought iron panels that are seen again in this lovely vignette.

Sedona Rouge

Sedona Bride Photography never ceases to amaze us with their ever-so-artistic point of view.  We absolutely love this image and the play of light and dark as it breaks up the image and makes a stunning composition that frames the couple so beautifully.

Sedona Rouge

The images just keep on getting better and better.  We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the shadows.  What artists Andrew and Katrina are!

Sedona Rouge

The Column Garden is another great setting at The Rouge.  These fabulous columns provide wonderful decor for ceremonies and make great props for photo shoots.

Sedona Rouge

The Roof Top Terrace is one of the only venues of its kind in Sedona.  It’s private and has wonderful views as well as an inviting fire pit.  Many brides have their reception dinners or cocktail receptions on the Sedona Rouge roof.  The Rouge has so many cool choices.

Sedona Rouge

The views on the Roof Top Terrace are just great.  Notice the tile details on the fire pit.  Gorgeous Moroccan tile details are found everywhere on the property and work so well with the southwestern feel of the region.

Sedona Rouge

One last romantic moment with the famous Coffee Pot Rock in the background…  then its off to the honeymoon!

Couture Sedona Wedding Bouquets

Show Stopper’s Designer, Ken Heflin, Creates Unbelievable Designs

Wedding bouquets can push the envelope and become one-of-a-kind living works of art as seen in this bouquet that is beyond description it is so beautiful.  Who would ever have thought of mixing fresh flowers, sea life and cactus into one incredible piece.

Couture wedding bouquet

The fresh flowers in this exquisite design included yellow calla lilies and lavender and coral hyacinths.  Sea-life elements included lavender sea urchins and coral miniature sea urchins.  Coral colored flame euphorbia and assorted succulents finished the look.

Ken cleverly used the callas lilies to mimic sea creatures springing forth from the safety of their nautical homes.  The flame euphorbia perfectly mimics branch coral from the ocean floor and picks up the colors of Sedona’s red rocks in the background.  More urchin shells were strung and dangled below the design.  The boutonniere incorporated the same elements.  Everything was coordinated perfectly right down to the model’s designer tie.

This couture bouquet was designed as part of a photo shoot package for Grace Ormonde’s Wedding Style Magazine.
